e-Nabız Personal Health System service in Turkey

The e-Nabız Personal Health System service, where citizens can share all their health records according to their wishes and carry these data with them at all times. e-Nabız project were one of important e-Government project in Turkey.

All citizens will have access to all health records, laboratory tests, radiology images, hospital visits, appointment histories etc. Citizens can share these health records with who and whenever they want, and citizen can carry their records with them. This project developed by the Ministry of Health.

e-Nabız project which integrates the health information systems of all hospitals and health institutions to the personal health records of the citizens, it provides as a platform that can be accessed by both citizens and the healthcare personnel with their authorization access level. With e-Nabız project, all examinations, test results, control, appointment and operations are recorded in a central database, and then all health institutions across the country authorized by citizens can access their personal health records. e-Nabız can be easily used with tablet, computers and smart phones so citizens can carry all their own health data with them.

Based on person centered care e-Nabız project was implemented to deliver the management of health data for citizen and to provide access to health data regardless of any time and any place. Citizen can keep their lifelong health records with all these features it means that all of health data from birth to death is available and recorded.as a result of e-Nabız project, it is a system that increases the quality and speed of diagnosis and treatment times and ensures the establishment of a strong communication network between the citizen and his physician.

When citizen enter their e-Nabız profile, they can connect to the central hospital appointment system (MHRS) and make appointments from all public hospitals and access the records of these appointments. Citizens can check all of the examination, diagnosis and treatment data in the health organization they visit from their profile and access the details of all examinations performed in this process. Accessing all data related to the process, such as all laboratory examinations and radiology images, prescriptions, diagnoses and medication use details makes this system as unique system.

All radiology images taken from the telemedicine system integrated with e-Nabız, it is open for the citizens to examine and share with the physician if they want and they can use in their next visit. As result, it decreased repetitive examinations and imaging procedures and it provide cost effective management of health and help to citizen from unnecessary process stress.

In addition, people can set a medication reminder alarm using the mobile application related to medications prescribed by their physicians, and it is ensured that the treatments are performed as prescribed.

Organ Donation Notice

Organ donation notification can be made through the e-Nabız system, so that the person can select the organs they want to donate through the organ donation module in the e-Nabız system and send a notification to the relevant center to initiate the necessary procedures. After the approval of the selection, the person is contacted by the Organ Donation Unit closest to the region he / she has reported.
