Dr. e-Nabız Telehealth in Turkey

What is Dr. e-Nabız?
Dr. e-Nabız System is a video call (Tele Health) system owned by the Turkey Ministry of Health. Patients and physicians can make online conversations on the system. The Dr. e-Nabız System provides access to online health services for people who are positive or in contact due to the COVID-19 pandemic process.
The e-Nabız System, where citizens manage their health and access all their health records, started to provide examination services during the pandemic process. Dr. e-Nabız application brings together Corona virus patients who should not leave the house and contact citizens in isolation with their physicians online. Patients who make an appointment through the Central Physician Appointment System can talk to physicians visually.
In period of COVID-19 pandemic, which poses a health threat to the whole world and continues. In Turkey, there is a curfew for positive and contact citizens who are in isolation at home. In this situation new projects came up to monitor the health of citizens. For patients who are periodically called by family physicians, online video calls with physicians have been made possible.
Dr. e-Nabız Telehealth project
For the citizens under quarantine to access health services during this period, Dr. e-Nabız project was implemented. In the scope of the project, Corona virus patients and contacts can make a visual examination appointment via MHRS without leaving the isolation areas. When the appointment is approved, an access link is sent with the appointment time and date in the SMS to the citizen. When the examination time comes, the citizen can contact the physician directly via mobile phone, computer and tablet by clicking on the link in the SMS. The physician who directs all the questions asked to the patient in the physical examination, can carry out the entire examination process visually and can prescribe medication when it is necessary. The citizen can receive her prescription both as an SMS and can see it on her/his e-Nabız account and have her/her relatives taken their medication.
How to make an appointment from Dr. e-Nabız?
In order for the patient to make a video call with the physician via the Dr. e-Pulse System, it is necessary to make a “Visual Examination” appointment via MHRS (Central Physician Appointment System). After making an appointment, for the patient is sent an SMS link to the mobile phone 1 hour before the appointment time. Due to appointment, it is possible to make calls with the physician over the internet via smart mobile phone, tablet or computer without going to the health institution (hospital, family medicine, etc.) where an appointment has been made. In the SMS content received 1 hour before the appointment, there is a link for the patient’s appointment time and video call. By clicking the relevant link, the video call system is entered.
How can citizen enter to Dr. e-Nabız system?
Citizen can login to the Dr. e-Nabız system with Appointment Number or “e-Government profile. To check in with Appointment No, click on the link in the SMS content that comes 1 hour before the appointment time. The patient can log into the system only by typing the TR ID number too.
